ShieldSquare declared winner at the IBM SmartCamp Launch Scale 2016, San Francisco
Recently we had announced that ShieldSquare was one of the six finalists chosen by IBM panelists. Now, we are happy to announce that we are the winners of the IBM Smartcamp Launch Scale 2016 event held in San Francisco, CA. The event took place on the 14 and 15 November 2016.
IBM SmartCamp is one part mentoring boot camp, one part networking extravaganza, and one part epic pitch competition among rising startups from around the globe.
ShieldSquare was one among the 60 innovative IBM Global Entrepreneur startups that are scaling successfully. These start up companies were chosen from across the globe from various sectors.
Chosen by a committee of judges from IBM, Launch and trusted partners, the six finalists presented their pitches on-stage at LAUNCH Scale. Later, these startups were given an opportunity to meet with renowned Silicon Valley angel investor, Jason Calacanis.
ShieldSquare lifted the trophy because the judges were very impressed with how much traction we have had over the last one year. ShieldSquare was able to acquire marquee customers like Purch, SeLoger, YellowPages, and more. Also, within the past year, we expanded our global footprint to cater to customers spread across 68 countries.
ShieldSquare’s state-of-the-art API-technology is preferred by many due to it’s flexible deployment options and zero-downtime.
Once again, we’d like to thank IBM SmartCamp for giving us an opportunity to pitch our bot prevention offering, and for recognizing the same on a global stage!
