Radware Bot Manager is now Available on Salesforce Commerce Cloud Marketplace

We’re excited to announce that Radware Bot Manager is available for download on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud Marketplace. Amidst growing concern over Web and application security, Radware Bot Manager can now safeguard Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) users against revenue-impacting malicious bot attacks on their Web, mobile, and API interfaces.

48% of Internet traffic today is comprised of bots, 24% of which are bad bots that attack online properties with malicious intent. These attacks not only cripple websites and applications, but also harm revenues through attacks such as denial of service and denial of inventory, account takeover, scraping, ad fraud, and payment fraud, among others.

“2020 has proven to be a transformative year for eCommerce. According to Digitalcommerce360.com, U.S. online sales reached $73.2 billion in June, up 76.2% from $41.5 billion in 2019. The COVID-19 pandemic has retailers vying for market share while consumers shop online from home,” said Pavan Thatha, head of Bot Management solutions for Radware. “As many retailers of all sizes struggle to keep their business alive, they turn to eCommerce ─ a website, mobile app, or transactional advertising ─ as an effective means of reaching consumers.

However, eCommerce portals attract malicious bots. While good bots can boost an eCommerce business, malicious bots can do a lot of damage, including denial of service, Web scraping, inventory holding, payment fraud, account takeovers, IP theft, and much more.”

Salesforce Commerce Cloud users can easily integrate Radware Bot Manager to protect their websites, applications, and APIs, using our detailed Integration Guide that lays out the appropriate steps needed for their configuration. We offer a range of customizable options to mitigate and manage bots based on your business needs, including showing a CAPTCHA, outright blocking, redirect loops, dropping requests, feeding fake data, and more. Users also have the option to set various difficulty levels for these actions to suit their needs.
